Repentance Prayer

This is God's Promise

God's Promise is very clear that when we REPENT and "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, 1 John 1:8-10 NKJV), be righteous and sin no more. And ask Jesus to come into your heart and to change your heart and life (Romans 2:4) and make Him be your personal Lord and Savior. Isn't Jesus so wonderful?!

WE ARE ALL SINNERS:
Do not feel guilt, the Goodness of God Leads us to REPENTANCE, that's the GRACE of God. You do not need to feel Guilt or to Condemn yourself if you have done many sins in your past and present.

WE ALL FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD:
We all make mistakes "even the righteousness of God.. For there is no difference; for All Have Sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:21-23, Revelation 2, 3). That is why there is The Gift of REPENTANCE.

Remember, JESUS COMMANDED US TO PRAY IN HIS NAME before He fulfilled the Law on the cross. So every time we pray "in Jesus Name" there is "Power!" And He teaches about the LORD's Prayer included the FORGIVENESS (REMISSION) of our sins before He was crucified —in Matthew 6:9-13 (NKJV):
"For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the

glory forever. Amen."

WHEN JESUS CHRIST RAISED FROM THE DEAD, "JESUS APPEARS TO HIS DISCIPLES"
AND "THE SCRIPTURES OPENED."
44 “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” 45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures." (Luke 24:44-45)

And then Jesus said....
—— JESUS SAID this to them (or to us, Jews and Gentiles)
BEFORE HE CARRIED UP INTO HEAVEN,
46 “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that REPENTANCE and REMISSION of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24: 46-47)

TRUE REPENTANCE:
Paul said to the Christian Church in Corinthians who are troubling in characteristic of the pagan world in 2 Corinthians 7:9-11 (NKJV):
9 Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. —10 For godly sorrow produces REPENTANCE leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. 11 For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner.." So True Repentance can lead us to Salvation while we are still alive in this earth.

19 REPENT therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.. (Acts 3:19 NKJV). All unrighteousness or wrongdoing is sin (1 John 5:17).

JESUS said in Revelation 3:3 and 5:
3 "Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and REPENT. 5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the BOOK OF LIFE; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels."

A CALL TO REPENTANCE
12 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” 13 So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. (Joel 2:12- 13)

— 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to REPENTANCE." (2 Peter 3:9 NKJV)

9 "The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to REPENTANCE." (2 Peter 3:9 AMP)

Amen! Glory to God!

Mark 2:10 AMP
"But so that you may know that the Son of Man [Jesus] has the authority and power on earth to forgive sins”— JESUS CHRIST

Read and study the Word. We have to Pray without ceasing and worship Him. And Read the Holy Bible for more wisdom and understanding, and then God's Spirit through Christ will give us Revelation. God bless!
